Grana Padano cheese range
Grana Padano is a PDO cheese with a minimum maturation of 9 months up to 20 months. Dalter selects the Grana Padano cheese in the area of origin and relies only to companies with long experience in the dairy industry for making products under its own brand.
Grana Padano cheese is made from raw cow’s milk, to which are added calf rennet, lysozyme and finally salt.
It is one of the best known PDO cheeses in the world and its production is established and controlled by
the rules of the Protection Consortium. Grana Padano contains neither lactose nor galactose. Its absence is a natural consequence of the
typical production process of Grana Padano and depends on the long aging. Grana Padano is a lactose-free cheese.
